get a better understanding of its artist members.

HQ in London, at this pivotal time when our fine art industry is going
through a period of interesting business opportunities and exciting

What people say... "....Just a note to say that we still get a great deal of pleasure from our pictures - we have quite a collection and the investment appears to be doing well !!! All the best" Penny and Derek Dryden, Cambridge **********************
" About 25 years ago I bought an original "Naïve" kitchen painting. It is a picture that we have treasured greatly ever since the day you came round to our house and sold it to us..... we do appreciate art, both painted and music, ... and are always on the look out, although I think I can say without any doubts, that we would not find anything which we would appreciate as much as yours." R Claridge, Kent. "By far our most successful contemporary exhibitor. Colin Ruffell's work has travelled the world after being purchased at our Canary Wharf gallery." Reginald Beer, JP. Proprietor. 'London Daybreak' by Colin Ruffell Colin Ruffell paints in many styles. Some images are childlike and amusing, others are traditional landscapes, and yet more are complex modernist abstract relationships of colour, texture and shape. He claims that he paints in explosive bursts, necessarily punctuated by long spells of getting ready, or recovery from the last effort. 'Cat on Piano' by Colin Ruffell |
'Kite Flyer' by Fran Slade Fran Slade paints pictures which harness mystical symbolism, and fantasy. She is fully trained, yet she paints as a naïve. Her work looks simple, yet it provokes complex sub-conscious feeling. She cannot explain her imagery, it comes from deep within. |
' Summer Garden 2' by Shyama Ruffell Shyama Ruffell had her first exhibition on the Bayswater Road in London when she was seven. She went on to study textiles & worked in the fashion industry. Inspired by her travels in India & Nepal, Shyama became self-employed as a freelance fashion textiles designer. Now she is a full time professional artist working alongside her parents Colin and Fran. See her website www.shyamaruffell.co.uk |
Special edition of 100 signed, numbered, and illustrated hand bound copies. click here for the 'special edition' "I liked the way Colin Ruffell's book was
written frequently sprinkled with humour throughout each chapter.
